Europa Group acquires K.I.T. Group and equips its
Courses & Congresses division with global
organisational capacity

Toulouse / Berlin, 11 June 2026

A merger driven by shared values
Europa Group (Toulouse) and K.I.T. Group (Berlin) today announce the completion of their merger. This acquisition is part of Europa Group’s development strategy, with the ambition of becoming the reference partner for healthcare professionals in their information and training needs, on an international scale.
Founded by Willy Kausch and established at the same time as Europa Group, K.I.T. Group has established itself over nearly forty years as a trusted partner of learned societies and international medical communities, supporting them at every stage of their development: logistics, content, on-site operations, and digital solutions. The group has an operational presence in Germany, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, complemented by a network of partners across all continents.

Two complementary entities, two preserved areas of expertise

The companies within Europa Group’s Courses & Congresses division and those of K.I.T. Group operate in complementary markets and according to complementary models. Together, they form a coherent entity serving a single mission: to help medical and scientific communities grow — by bringing them together, informing them, and training them — everywhere in the world.
K.I.T. Group will continue to operate under its own brand, with its own teams and in its own markets. The sharing of expertise and the co-construction of opportunities will be guided by the best interests of each entity’s clients. This governance choice ensures that clients and partner learned societies maintain the trust built over years of collaboration, fully intact.

Marc Doncieux, Founder and President of Europa Group:
“Our courses and congresses activity has until now been primarily focused on the French market. With the addition of K.I.T. Group, we become a group capable of supporting medical learned societies everywhere in the world, at every stage of their development: this is a decisive step in our growth. It is also a great honour to welcome K.I.T. Group’s teams into Europa Group — I have the deepest respect for this company, which its founder is today entrusting to us.”

Willy Kausch, Founder and Honorary President of K.I.T. Group:
“I am convinced that Europa Group is the ideal acquirer for K.I.T. Group. Like us, with 40 years of expertise in supporting medical and scientific communities, Europa Group has forged deep ties with these communities and instilled a culture of excellence that permeates all of its activities. This is not a merger of convenience: K.I.T. Group’s managing directors and I are fully convinced that joining Europa Group is the right decision — for our company, for our teams, and for our clients — one that carries both progress and continuity.”

K.I.T. Group’s new governance

Willy Kausch takes on the role of Founder and Honorary President, ensuring a smooth transition alongside the management teams over a period of at least 18 months. K.I.T. Group’s current management team — Jocelyne Mülli, Merryn Scholz and Delphine Baudouin — remains fully in place and ensures operational continuity under the responsibility of Louis Verdier, CEO of Europa Group:
“Our ambition is to be present at every stage of a medical community’s lifecycle — from the creation of its annual congress to its global digital presence. Thanks to this acquisition, that is a promise we can now fulfil anywhere in the world.”
