Sustainability

As ISO 20121:2024 certified agency (certificate number: SEMS 809298), we recognise that conferences and events have significant ecological, social, and economic impacts locally and globally. We consider it our responsibility to help minimise their negative impact and leave a positive impact on local communities.

We are committed to achieving the following objectives:

  • Establish economically sustainable operations that promote social inclusion and the 3R of waste management.
  • Empower our clients to make informed choices and encourage responsible operations.
  • Inspire our peers through transparent and clear communication, becoming industry role models.
  • Prioritise health and well-being to sustain an inclusive and collaborative work environment, driving employee long-term engagement

K.I.T. Group has created a measurable internal and event operations action plan through a cross-division process review.

Setting the Benchmark for Sustainable Conferences

ISPAD Driving Excellence Awards - Sustainability Award 2026

Sustainable conferences require more than good intentions; they demand expertise, planning, and measurable impact.

With the IUCN World Conservation Congress, K.I.T. Group demonstrated how sustainability can be embedded into every layer of event design.

The result: the IAPCO Sustainability Award 2026 and a new benchmark for responsible global events.

At K.I.T. Group, Sustainability Means Taking Measurable Action.

We worked with myclimate to assess the carbon footprint of our Berlin office and related activities for 2025. The analysis showed total emissions of 282.17 tonnes of CO₂e.

Taking responsibility for this impact, K.I.T. Group contributed to a high-impact climate protection project: “Safe Water Through the Power of the Sun” in Uganda, implemented in partnership with myclimate.

This initiative provides communities with access to safe drinking water through solar-powered purification systems. By eliminating the need to boil water over open fires, it reduces carbon emissions, improves health, limits deforestation, and supports local communities in their daily lives.

Through this contribution, K.I.T. Group supports long-term, sustainable solutions while continuing to strengthen its own approach to environmental responsibility.
