The Dresden Team had the privilege of organising the EUROTOX Congress for the first time in 2009. This was followed by a second event in Porto in 2015 and, finally, the contract as Core PCO from 2018 onwards.
Since then, we have been able to continuously refine the profile of the congress together with EUROTOX for nearly 20 years, culminating in a new record for attendees and exhibitors at the recent edition in Athens in 2025, with more than 2,000 delegates and almost 100 exhibitors.
We are proud of the highly trusting partnership that has developed over the last few years. This is reflected in the fact that we have already established a strategic partnership through 2029.
We have been organising the European Glial Meeting in Health and Disease, a Network Glia event, for over 15 years. In addition, for the past three years we have also been responsible for the management of the Network Glia Association.
In this capacity, we support the organisation of the GLIA congresses from the earliest planning stages as Scientific Secretariat through to the final stages of the congress, supporting the scientific programme, operational planning, and overall event delivery.
The GLIA Congress is the premier international conference dedicated to glial cell research, attracting more than 1,300 scientists every two years to leading European cities.
In 2025, we collaborated with the Joint Annual Meeting of the International Society of Exposure Science (ISES), and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), to support the organisation of their international scientific conferences in environmental health.

The collaboration has successfully expanded beyond the national stage to the international community: Alongside the European conference (Europhysiology 2022), the 40th Congress of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) was also successfully organised under the auspices of the International Union of Physiological Sciences.
